Magee’s of Kingscourt is a third generation family run business.
Established in 1953 by Patrick Magee who hailed from Kill, in Co.Cavan. In those days the shop was mainly focused on menswear and footwear with a very small ladies wear section.
His daughter Florence Donagh took over the business from her sister Josephine in 1975 and over the next 25 years with the help of her son Pat who joined the family business in 1978 expanded and refitted the shop on numerous occasions. Florence was passionate about clothing and fashion, dedicating her life to looking after all her wonderful and loyal customers keeping them up to date with the latest trends.
For the last 30 years, Pat and Rosena have been at the helm. Rosena has been in the rag trade for 36 years and is totally focused on customer service and beautiful fashionable, yet wearable and affordable clothes.
